In the summertime there is always a small theme park in Innsbruck near the Olympia Stadium. My time of riding rollercoasters is certainly over, but I´m really drawn to take pictures of the lights and the people, who attend this theme park.
I definitely wanted to go there in the evening, but the weather this summer was just awful. It was basically raining every night, even the night my girlfriend and me went there. We waited in our car, till the rain was very soft. We then went through the park in 10 minutes and shot a roll of film. I wish, I’d had a little more time, but I´m very happy with some of these shots.
I used my Canon AE-1 with a 28mm and 50mm lens. My choice of film was Kodak Portra 800. I shot the roll at 1600 ISO and the lab did an excellent job with pushing the film. Normally I do the development myself, but I’ve never pushed a color film at that time, so I was really glad, that I found a lab in my area to do it for me.
